KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Chairperson of the Maoist Centre, has claimed that his party is experiencing increasing public interest nationwide.

Speaking at a program in Mahottari on Wednesday, Dahal attributed this surge in attraction to the achievements of the Maoist-led government and its agenda.

Dahal emphasized that the Maoist party has established itself as a key force advocating for identity, citing its commitment to good governance, social justice, and prosperity as factors enhancing its appeal.

He noted that the country is currently guided by the Maoists’ political agenda and argued that the Maoist Centre outperforms other parties due to its innovative approach in governance.

He highlighted that the Maoists have championed various critical agendas, including political reforms from people’s war and movement, Constituent Assembly elections, the establishment of a republic, constitution drafting, federalism, and the promotion of proportional and inclusive representation.
