Dr. Shivaji Paudel, the Hospital’s Executive Director, stated that, as part of a federal government program, the Cancer Hospital will now offer services at the provincial level.

The expansion plan includes establishing cancer treatment rooms with at least five beds in a government hospital in each province.

Dr. Paudel emphasized the importance of expanding the hospital’s services for comprehensive cancer testing.

The new services will be introduced in Dhankuta (Koshi Province), Janakpur (Madhes), Damauli (Gandaki), Dang (Lumbini), Surkhet (Karnali), and Dhangadhi (Sudurpaschim Province).

According to Dr. Paudel, a team of specialist doctors will be stationed at each expanded center for one week each month.

These services will be provided in collaboration with health institutions throughout the provinces.
