HoR meeting postponed in absence of minister

KATHMANDU: Today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been postponed until tomorrow due to the absence of ministers.

HoR Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced the postponement of the HoR meeting until tomorrow after the Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Ramhari Khatiwada argued that the HoR meeting could not advance in absence of the prime minister and ministers.

The presence of a minister is mandatory for holding the HoR meeting as per Rule 6 (5) of the HoR Regulations, 2079.

The next meeting of the HoR is summoned for 11:00 am tomorrow.
