CIAA sues official of Dhangadhi Chief Minister’s Office on fake certificate allegations

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against Laxman Shah, a section officer at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Dhangadhi, Kailali.

According to CIAA spokesperson Narahari Ghimire, Shah had submitted a false educational certificate claiming to have passed the intermediate level examination under the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh (UP Board), to secure a position as a computer operator in the civil service.

Following his promotion to the position of section officer (seventh level),  CIAA  filed case against him at the Special Court.
