KATHMANDU: Nepal National Cricket Team captain Rohit Kumar Paudel stated that the team has gained a valuable wicket-taking bowler with the arrival of Sandeep Lamichhane.

He expressed that the addition of spinner Lamichhane has increased the team’s confidence in winning matches in the West Indies.

During a press conference held ahead of their second match in the ICC T20 World Cup, Captain Paudel mentioned that the West Indies pitch favors spinners, making Sandeep’s presence highly significant for the team.

“The pitch in the West Indies is excellent for spinners. With the addition of a wicket-taker bowler who also brings experience, our prospects in the T20 format look promising,” he said.

The Nepal Captain also noted that the pressure is more on the other teams rather than Nepal in the upcoming matches, emphasizing that Nepal has the potential to win.
