KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has taken a decisive stance against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s vote of confidence in the House of Representatives.
Nepali Congress Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak issued a statement today, instructing party MPs to vote against the confidence motion during the House meeting scheduled for March 13.
This move comes in the wake of Prime Minister Dahal’s decision to sever ties with the Nepali Congress and form a new alliance that includes the CPN-UML, Rastriya Swatantra Party, Janata Samajwadi Party, and Unified Socialist, in addition to the Maoist Center.
The Nepali Congress is set to make its stand clear by participating in the House meeting, expressing dissent against the confidence vote proposed by Prime Minister Dahal.
