BAITADI: The CPN-UML is holding its Baitadi district convention today.
According to party sources, UML Vice Chairman Ishwor Pokharel is slated to inaugurate the convention.
Representatives from the district’s 10 municipalities have been chosen for the event, with reports indicating unanimous selections from all municipalities.
More than 600 representatives, encompassing all wards, have been selected for participation in the convention.
The party has stated that the leadership will be elected through unanimous decisions during the convention.
As the party’s ninth session approaches, both new and familiar faces are vying for leadership roles.
Notable figures such as Naresh BK, Narendra Bista, and party Deputy Secretary Lokendra Bhandari are under discussion for the chairmanship.
