Religious rituals promote positive thinking and guide people on right path: Vice President Yadav



BIRGUNJ: Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav emphasized the positive impact of religious activities on human motivation and the cultivation of a righteous path.

Inaugurating the religious program “Sitaram Nam Sankritan Mahayagya Ek Saya Aath Kunja Ebam Nau Diwasiya Shree Bishnu Mahayagya,” which began at the local Sugar Mill premises in Pipara, Birgunj Metropolitan City-14, Vice President Yadav highlighted the significance of religious rituals, such as mahayagya and land worship sacraments, in fostering goodwill and guiding individuals towards the right path.

He expressed his belief that these religious practices contribute to promoting peace and unity, especially in a society facing increasing disturbances due to mutual discord and misunderstanding.

Vice President Yadav extended his best wishes for the Mahayagya to bring about peace and mutual understanding.

Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies Ramesh Rijal remarked that religion encourages people to embrace truth and compassion. He stressed the crucial role of religious preachers in safeguarding and promoting religious values.

During the event, Vice President Yadav honored various individuals for their support in ensuring the success of the Mahayagya.

The Mahayagya, spanning nine days, is expected to attract around one million devotees. Ram Prabesh Prasad Kurmi, the coordinator of the Mahayagya Management Committee, announced that various religious and cultural programs would be held as part of the Mahayagya.
