Nagarik Unmukti Party’s National Convention begins today



KAILALI: Today marks the commencement of the first national convention of the Nagarik Unmukti Party.

The convention, set to begin in Tikapur, Kailali, will span from today until January 13.

Arun Kumar Chaudhary, a member of the party’s central leadership, said that a contingent of 8,000 representatives hailing from 55 out of 77 districts across the nation is set to actively participate in the convention.

A highlight of the event is the election of a 501-member Central Committee, with 28 office bearers to be chosen from the assembly.

The roster will include positions such as Chairman, co-chairman, seven vice-chairmen, general secretary, 7 joint secretaries, and a treasurer.

Chaudhary conveyed that the opening session of the convention will witness the presence of leaders from various political parties who have been extended invitations to grace the occasion.
