NPL: Pokhara Avengers sets 104-run target for Karnali Yaks



KATHMANDU: Pokhara Avengers has set a target of 104 runs to Karnali Yaks in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL).

In the second match held at the Tribhuvan University (TU) International Cricket Ground on Tuesday, Pokhara Avengers posted a total of 103 runs in just 16.3 overs.

Karnali’s William was the standout bowler, taking 6 wickets and dismantling Pokhara’s batting line-up.

Captain Sompal Kami, Yunish Singh Thakuri, and Bipin Prasad Sharma each claimed 1 wicket.

For Pokhara, Dinesh Kharel was the top scorer with 26 runs, followed by Andres, who contributed 25 runs.

Captain Kushal Bhurtel and Bipin Khatri both made 10 runs, while Ramon added 20 runs.

Dilip Nath scored 3 runs, and Akash Chand and Michael made 2 runs each. Narayan Joshi was dismissed for just 1 run.
