KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a possibility of rain and snow in the hilly and mountainous regions of the country today.
According to the bulletin issued on Sunday morning, the afternoon will be mostly clear in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy conditions.
There is a chance of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some hilly areas, it said adding that light snowfall may occur in a few locations in the high hills and Himalayan regions.
At night, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas. There is also a possibility of light rain in some hilly regions and light snowfall in a few high hill and Himalayan areas.
As of Sunday morning, the weather is mainly clear with some partial changes in the hilly regions and the rest of the country, according to the Division.
