NEPSE continues downward trend with 13.09-point decline



KATHMANDU: The NEPSE Index on Tuesday continued its downward trend, decreasing by 13.09 points (0.49%) to end the day at 2,632.94. This follows a 55.86-point drop from the previous session.

The trading day began with the index at 2,648.07 points, peaking at 2,688.26 points before falling to a low of 2,616.98 points.

By the close of trading, the NEPSE Index was at 2,632.94 points.

In terms of trading activity, 328 companies were involved in 93,459 transactions, with a total of 19,077,583 shares traded.

The overall turnover for the day was Rs. 7.24 billion.
