Madhav Nepal and Jhala Nath Khanal meet with Prime Minister Dahal at Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: Chairman of CPN-Unified Socialist, Madhav Kumar Nepal, and senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal visited Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ at his official residence in Baluwatar.

Nepal and Khanal arrived at Baluwatar around 5 pm on Wednesday.

Discussions between Prime Minister Dahal and the two leaders are currently ongoing.

Following an agreement between CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress to form a new government, Prime Minister Dahal has found himself in the minority.

Sources indicate that the discussions are focused on the upcoming vote of confidence.

Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence on Julu 12.

The Unified Socialist has expressed its support for Dahal in the confidence vote.
