Heavy rain likely in Koshi and Madhesh provinces



KATHMANDU: The current weather pattern is influenced by the monsoon winds affecting Nepal, the Weather Forecast Division has said.

According to the Division, provinces including Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini are experiencing light to heavy rainfall.

This afternoon, the country will experience generally cloudy conditions.

There is a likelihood of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in various parts of Koshi, Madhesh, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces, as well as isolated areas in other provinces.

The Division has warned of the possibility of heavy rain in some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, and Gandaki provinces, and isolated places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Furthermore, there is a chance of very heavy rain in specific locations within Koshi and Madhesh provinces.

Tonight, cloudy skies will prevail nationwide. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in parts of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as isolated spots in other provinces.

The forecast has indicated a potential for heavy rain in isolated areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces during the night.
