SC orders additional documents against Home Minister Lamichhane

Seeks PM Dahal's statement in Parliament



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has ordered the submission of additional documents in the case against Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.

A division bench of Justices Manoj Kumar Sharma and Til Prasad Shrestha directed to provide details to the Court in the cooperatives-related case.

The bench instructed to retrieve documents, including the complaint registration book related to the cooperative fraud case at the Kaski District Police Office, the charge sheet filed at Kaski Police, and the charge sheet registered by the Rupandehi District Attorney’s Office.

Additionally, the Supreme Court requested the investigation report conducted by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police.

The court also asked for certified copies of statements made by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Home Minister Lamichhane in Parliament.
