PM Dahal returning home today after attending Modi’s swearing-in ceremony



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is returning home today after participating in the swearing-in ceremony of his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

The Nepali delegation, led by the Prime Minister, is scheduled to arrive home at 4:30 pm via Nepal Airlines.

Upon the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Modi, the delegation, including Prime Minister Dahal, traveled to New Delhi on Sunday afternoon.

The team comprises Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Padam Giri; Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal; Prime Minister’s daughter Ganga Dahal, and other officials.

Modi took the oath for his third term on Sunday evening, with Prime Ministers and heads of state from SAARC countries, including Nepal, in attendance at the ceremony.
