NC to nominate Yuvaraj Sharma as NA Chair candidate



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to nominate Yuvaraj Sharma as its candidate for the position of National Assembly (NA) Chair.

The working committee meeting of NC parliamentary party, on Sunday, decided to pick Sharma’s name for the candidacy to the post of NA Chair.

Earlier, NC had prepared to field Krishna Prasad Sitaula as its candidate for the National Assembly Chair.

However, following the change in the ruling coalition, NC has now turned to Yuvaraj Sharma as its new candidate.

The ruling coalition has decided to nominate a candidate for the position of National Assembly Chair from the Maoist Center.
