Hong Kong vs Nepal T20 match abandoned due to rain

KATHMANDU: The highly anticipated first match of the Tri-nations T20 International Series between Nepal and host nation Hong Kong, China, ended in disappointment as rain forced the abandonment of the game.

Nepal won the toss earlier and opted to bowl first at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.

Before the rain disruption, Hong Kong managed to score 65 runs, losing two wickets in eight overs.

With the match called off, both teams were left disappointed as they were unable to showcase their skills on the field.

However, cricket enthusiasts can look forward to the next match of the series scheduled for Tuesday.

In the upcoming games, Nepal will face PNG, while Hong Kong will take on PNG on the same day.
