Hong Kong scores 45 runs in loss of one wicket in powerplay against Nepal



KATHMANDU: Hong Kong, China made an impressive start in the inaugural match against Nepal, scoring 45 runs while losing one wicket during the powerplay.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Nepal aimed to contain the opposition’s batting lineup.

Karan KC provided Nepal with an early breakthrough, dismissing Martin Coetzee for a duck.

As the game progressed to six overs, Nizakat Khan and Anshuman Rath formed a solid partnership for Hong Kong, contributing 10 and 34 runs respectively.

The duo’s partnership sets the stage for an intriguing battle between the two sides.
