Rain interruption halts Nepal vs. Hong Kong match



KATHMANDU: The eagerly anticipated opening match between Nepal and Hong Kong, China has hit a snag as rain delays play.

After winning the toss, Nepal elected to field first and made an early breakthrough, taking one wicket as the game progressed beyond five overs.

In the limited play before rainfall halted proceedings, Hong Kong managed to score 43 runs and lost one wicket. Karan KC of Nepal provided the first breakthrough, bowling out Martin Coetzee for a duck.
