KATHMANDU: The Nepali national cricket team is playing against Hong Kong in the inaugural match of the Triangular T20 Series to be held in Hong Kong today.
Running from Sunday to Wednesday, the Triangular T20 Series features the cricket prowess of Nepal, Hong Kong, and Papua New Guinea (PNG).
The Nepali national cricket team, led by captain Rohit Paudel, arrived in Hong Kong on Thursday, for the matches of the ICC T20 World Cup scheduled for June.
The squad, under Paudel’s captaincy, boasts a formidable lineup including talents like Kushal Bhurtel, Binod Bhandari, Gulshan Jha, Sandeep Zora, Arif Sheikh, Bibek Yadav, Karan KC, Abinash Bohora, Rashid Khan, Pratish JC, Sagar Dhakal, Akash Chand, and Lokesh Bam.
As the Nepali team gears up for the T20 series, cricket enthusiasts eagerly await the matches that will undoubtedly set the stage for an exhilarating tournament in preparation for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
