Police nab two with 124 kg of cannabis

SUNSARI: The police arrested two individuals in possession of 124 kg of marijuana in Dharan-11 Riting Tol.

The apprehended individuals are 19-year-old Mausam Rai, a resident of Dharan sub-metropolis-11 Riting Tol, and 22-year-old Abhishek Sharma, residing in Resunga Chowk of the same ward.

During a routine check of two tempos parked in front of Mausam Rai’s residence, the police from the Dharan Area Police Office discovered 36 kg of marijuana in one tempo and 88 kg in another.

According to the police, both Mausam and Abhishek, who were driving the tempos, have been taken into custody for further investigation.
