Fog blankets Terai as westerly winds impact Nepal’s weather

KATHMANDU:  The Weather Forecasting Division has reported an influence of westerly winds currently affecting Nepal’s weather patterns.

As of now, the weather remains predominantly clear in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, with other regions experiencing partial cloud cover.

However, the Terai areas are predominantly shrouded in fog and mist.

The Division has anticipated clear skies in the remaining hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces later this afternoon.

Nightfall is expected to bring mostly clear conditions to the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, according to the Division’s forecast.
