KATHMANDU: Former Gorkha Media Directors Chhabilal Joshi and Ram Bahadur Khanal, who were arrested in connection with the embezzlement of funds from a cooperative organization, have been transferred from Pokhara to Parsa.
The transfer occurred as arrest warrants were issued for them in relation to the embezzlement case involving a small cooperative organization in Parsa.
According to police sources, they were transported by car from Pokhara to Parsa on Sunday evening.
Their statements will be taken at the District Attorney’s Office today, after which they will be returned to Pokhara.
Meanwhile, preparations are underway to transfer Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane from Pokhara to Parsa.
Police sources have indicated that the timing of the transfer has not yet been determined.
Both Rabi and Chhabi are currently in the custody of the District Police Office, Kaski, in connection with the cooperative fraud case.
