President Paudel stresses collaboration between govt and political parties

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has underlined a robust collaboration between government and political parties for the socioeconomic and cultural developments of the country.

President Paudel said it while addressing a function organized on the occasion of 110th birth anniversary of leader Ganesh Man Singh today.

Intensified development works and good governance could build public trust in government and political parties, he argued.

“Freedom in human life has eternal value. Freedom is a fundamental of democracy. This very essence was internalized while devising federal democratic republic in Nepal,” the President reminded, adding that the late Ganesh Man Singh was a bold, hardworking and farsighted leader in BP Koirala’s perspective.

According to President Paudel, Ganesh Man Singh’s friend in the democratic struggle, BP Koirala used to say that Singh’s forecasts were realized in Nepali political development.

He also urged all not to forget the role Singh played in Nepal’s democratic movements and achievements.

“Ganesh Man Ji never compromised democratic values in ideal and practice,” President added.

In a different note, President Paudel reminded the political parties and others to effectively enforce the government policies and programmes to ensure justice to poor and backward people. Youths need to be assured of realization of their dream within country, Paudel underlined.
