KATHMANDU: Approximately two months after the formation of the new coalition government, a meeting of the ruling parties is taking place today.

The meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar aims to discuss several key issues, including the government’s Common Minimum Program (CMP).

On Sunday, discussions took place between Prime Minister KP Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

This meeting follows the agreement made between the two parties when Nepali Congress President Deuba and UML President Oli decided to share power.

The coalition government includes the CPN-UML, Nepali Congress, Janata Samajwadi Party, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party, and Nagarik Unmukti Party.

Additionally, the Oli-led government has received support from JSP Nepal and the Janamat Party.
