Judicial Council recommends appointment of 35 district judges



KATHMANDU: The Judicial Council has recommended the appointment of 35 new District Judges.

The recommendation was made during a Council meeting held on Friday.

The meeting was chaired by Chief Justice Biswambhar Prasad Shrestha and attended by Law Minister Ajay Chaurasiya, Senior Supreme Court Judge Prakash Man Singh Raut, and members Ram Prasad Shrestha and Ram Prasad Bhandari.

In addition to the appointments, the Council also decided to transfer 21 District Judges.
