Maoist Centre holding Standing Committee meeting



KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee meeting of the opposition Maoist Centre is set to commence at 4:00 pm today.

Central leaders of the party have indicated that the meeting will address the current political situation and review the party’s performance.

Taking place at the party headquarters in Parisdanda, the session will focus on strengthening the party’s organizational structure.

Maoist Centre’s Spokesperson and Vice-Chairman Agni Prasad Sapkota said that the meeting will cover future plans of action, strategies for people’s mobilization, and the expansion of the organization.

Before the Standing Committee meeting, a meeting of the party’s office-bearers is also taking place to finalize the agendas for the Standing Committee session.
