“No longer in Rabi Lamichhane’s club,” says Dhakal after being relieved from his post

KATHMANDU: Dr. Mukul Dhakal has responded to the Rastriya Swatantra Party’s (RSP) decision to relieve him from his positions as General Secretary and Spokesperson, stating on social media that he is no longer part of “Rabi Lamichhane’s Club.”

Dhakal emphasized that efforts to transform the party from being Rabi Lamichhane’s party to Rastriya Swatantra Party will continue.

During a central committee meeting held on Tuesday morning, the party decided to relieve Dhakal of his duties.

Despite recommendations from the party’s disciplinary committee to remove him entirely from membership, the Central Committee chose to retain his general membership.
