One killed, three injured in landslide in Rukum East



RUKUM EAST: A person died and three others were injured in a landslide in the district last night.

The landslide had swept away four family members of Karna Bahadur Budha of Sisne rural municipality-1 when they were sleeping in a hut in Sisne-2.

Of four family members, 11-year-old Sargam Budha died in the incident. Information Officer at the District Police Office, Rukum East, Hari Prasad Bhattarai said Sargam’s father 40-year-old Karna, mother Gamma Budha, 38, and sister nine-year-old Tilsara Budha were critically injured in the incident.

All the injured have been sent to Rukumkot for treatment.
