UML holding Secretariat meeting today

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is holding a meeting of its Secretariat today.

According to Rajendra Gautam, Head of the CPN-UML Publicity Department, the meeting will take place at the party office, Chyasal on Tuesday afternoon.

The agenda of the meeting includes discussions on current political developments and the allocation of responsibilities among party leaders.

The meeting is considered significant in the wake of the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML alliance, and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s government finding itself in minority status.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Dahal is set to seek a vote of confidence in Parliament on June 12 after UML withdrew support and left him in the minority.
