Group of students sets government vehicle ablaze in Biratnagar



KATHMANDU: A group of students set a government-owned vehicle ablaze in Biratnagar.

The incident occurred in front of Mahendra Morang Multiple Campus while Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane was in the city.

The vehicle, a Scorpio (Ko 1 Jha 644) belonging to the Koshi Province Planning Commission, was set on fire, according to the District Police Office, Morang.

Earlier, six students were arrested on Friday on charges of assaulting security personnel in Rangeli Municipality.

The students are demanding the release of all the arrestees.
