Koshi Province set to host 5-day Industrial Expo and Food Festival in Dhankuta



DHANKUTA: The Dhankuta chapter of the Cottage and Small Industries’ Association has announced the upcoming five-day Koshi Province-level industrial exhibition and food festival, scheduled to take place from May 22 to 26.

The event aims to showcase and promote local products while providing a platform for marketing and networking opportunities.

Rajeshwar Bahadur Shrestha, Chairman of the Association, revealed that the exhibition will feature 30 stalls highlighting a diverse range of local products.

The organizers have set an ambitious target of facilitating transactions worth Rs 30 million during the event.

Ishwar Thapa, Chief of the Cottage and Small Industries Office in Dhankuta, expressed optimism about the festival’s potential to contribute significantly to the exploration of industrial prospects within the region.

The festival will be hosted at the industrial village of Dhankuta municipality-6, which is expected to play a pivotal role in fostering the growth of local industries.

Tilak Mahat, Coordinator of the Industrial Village Management Committee, emphasized the importance of the event in stimulating the marketing and promotion of domestic products across all 14 districts of the Koshi Province.

The festival is anticipated to serve as a catalyst for economic growth and development within the province.

The announcement of the industrial expo and food festival has generated excitement and anticipation among both participants and attendees, promising an enriching experience for all stakeholders involved.
