Over 4,000 security personnel deployed ahead of RPP’s mass demonstration (photos)

KATHMANDU: In anticipation of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)’s upcoming mass demonstration in the capital, more than 4,000 security personnel have been mobilized to ensure peace and security.

To forestall any untoward incidents, security forces have been arranged in three tiers, with Nepal Police leading, Armed Police Force supporting, and a specialized police team reinforcing security measures.

RPP is gearing up for a significant mass gathering slated for Tuesday, advocating for the restoration of constitutional monarchy and the elimination of secularism, among other objectives.

The event, commencing at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu, will involve rallies culminating in a large-scale assembly.

With an estimated attendance of 50,000 individuals, RPP has issued warnings against any disruptions during the demonstration, underscoring potential repercussions.
