Woman found dead in Siraha, husband injured



KATHMANDU: A tragic incident unfolded in Golbazar Municipality-6 of Siraha, where a woman was discovered dead in a local hotel.

The victim, identified as Anita Kumari Sah, 32, was the wife of Mahendra Kumar Sha, 35, who operated the hotel.

Anita’s lifeless body was found on Saturday morning, prompting the police to suspect foul play.

According to the District Police Office of Siraha, Anita was murdered around 1:40 am the previous night.

Presently, the police are actively investigating the case to uncover the truth behind the tragic incident.

Meanwhile, Mahendra Kumar, the husband of the deceased, is receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital.

The body of the deceased has been transferred to Lahan for postmortem examinations.

Additionally, authorities have apprehended two suspects in connection with the case, although their identities have not been disclosed.
