Nepal playing friendly match against Hong Kong



KATHMANDU: Nepal and Hong Kong are playing a friendly cricket match today.

The match is scheduled to start at 11:15 am.

The Nepali national cricket team is currently in Hong Kong for a triangular T20 series, also involving Papua New Guinea.

The team left Kathmandu on Thursday to play the triangular series.

The triangular T20I series between Nepal, Hong Kong and Papua New Guinea is starting from this tomorrow. In the lead up to the series, Nepal is playing a friendly match with Hong Kong today.

In the triangular series, Nepal will play the first match against Hong Kong on March 10 and against Papua New Guinea on March 12.

The final match of the triangular series will be held on March 13.

Led by Rohit Kumar Paudel the Nepali team includes Kushal Bhurtel, Binod Bhandari, Gulshan Jha, Sandeep Zora, Aarif Sheikh, Bivek Yadav, Rashid Khan, Karan KC, Sagar Dhakal, Pratish GC, Lokesh Bam, Akash Chand and Abinash Bohra.
