Education Minister Rai directs KMC to revoke Dr. Bishad Dahal’s suspension

KATHMANDU: Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Ashok Kumar Rai, has directed the Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) to revoke the suspension of Dr. Bishad Dahal.

Minister Rai, who also serves as the Vice-Chairperson of Kathmandu University, instructed the KMC to promptly lift Dr. Dahal’s suspension.

During a meeting of the Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee under the Parliament, Secretary of the Ministry, Suresh Adhikari, informed that Minister Rai directed the university, following the Section 13 (3) Clause (3) of the Kathmandu University Act, 2048.

Minister Rai has urged the University to adhere to the directives from Ministry and also briefed KMC about the same.
