PM Dahal assures of ‘innovative approach’ in upcoming budget

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has unveiled plans for a fresh approach to introduce policies, programs, and the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

Speaking to party cadres at Mulkot of Sunkoshi rural committee of CPN (Maoist Centre), PM Dahal, also Chairperson of the Maoist Centre, emphasized significant improvements in the national economy under his leadership.

“Economic progress has been notable since assuming office,” he remarked.

PM Dahal outlined a strategy to target economic disparities in formulating the upcoming policy, program, and budget, aiming to lay a foundation for socialism. He pledged to solicit suggestions from various stakeholders to ensure a people-centric approach.

Highlighting the government’s achievements, he underscored strides made in promoting good governance, social justice, and prosperity. Efforts to address issues like loan shark victimization, gold smuggling, and the Lalita Niwas land grab scandal were emphasized.

Despite facing resistance to reformative actions, PM Dahal reaffirmed the government’s commitment to prioritize public welfare.

Shifting focus, PM Dahal noted the government’s efforts to strengthen Nepal’s diplomatic ties with international partners, citing recent high-level exchanges as evidence of growing bilateral relations.

With these initiatives, PM Dahal aims to steer Nepal towards a path of inclusive development and enhanced international cooperation.
