Suhang Nemwang to take oath as MP today



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML’s Suhang Nemwang, who emerged victorious in the by-election in Ilam Constituency-2 on April 27, is taking his oath of office today.

The Federal Parliament Secretariat has announced that the swearing-in ceremony for Nemwang’s parliamentary seat will be held at 11:00 am at Singha Durbar.

Nemwang secured his victory in Ilam-2 with 27,772 votes, defeating his closest competitor, Dambar Bahadur Khadka of Nepali Congress, who garnered 21,942 votes.

Nemwang’s triumph over Khadka marked a substantial margin of 5,780 votes.
