‘Mahajatra’ strikes a powerful blow at current politics: Jhalanath Khanal

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and senior leader of the CPN-Unified Socialist Jhalanath Khanal has praised the movie “Mahajatra” for its excellence.

After attending a special show at the Sundhara based Cineman Hall on Sunday, leader Khanal applauded the strong role portrayed by veteran artist Haribansha Acharya in the movie, stating that it delivers a strong blow to the current political scenario.

“The performance of the actors is truly commendable. Haribansh’s portrayal of the leader strikes a significant blow at current politics,” Khanal said.

Leader Khanal rated the movie 9.9 out of 10, commending its excellence.

The special screening was attended by senior film directors Tulsi Ghimire, Badri Adhikari, veteran actress Bhuvan Chand, actress Gauri Malla, Priyanka Karki, and actor Ayushman Deshraj Joshi among others

Directed and written by Pradeep Bhattarai, the movie “Mahajatra” is currently in its third week of screening.
