NEPSE surges by 36.57 points; closes at 2059.42 despite reduced trading volume

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a significant surge, increasing by 36.57 points. Today, the market closed at 2059.42 points.

The market had plummeted by 36.57 points yesterday in comparison to the previous trading day, to stand at 2022.9 points.

Despite the growth, there has been a decrease in trading volume. While the previous day saw transactions worth NPR 5.24 billion, Monday witnessed deals amounting to  4,675,224,902 rupees.

When 212 companies saw an increase, 29 saw a decline in their value, while 5 remained stable today.
