CPN (US) unveils its candidates for upcoming NA elections



KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has finalized its candidates for two seats  of the National Assembly (NA) election, allocated by the ruling alliance.

From the Dalit cluster in Bagmati Province, Ghanshyam Rijal Biswakarma has been selected to represent the party. Meanwhile, in Karnali Province, Sabitri Malla from Dailekh has secured the party’s nomination from the Female cluster.

Earlier, the party entrusted the responsibility of candidate selection to Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, Vice-Chairman Rajendra Pandey, and Ghanshyam Bhusal.

Of the 19 seats falling vacant in March, the ruling alliance has allocated 10 seats for Nepali Congress, six for CPN (Maoist Center), two for CPN (US) and one for JSP.
