KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that the country is currently under the influence of both westerly and local winds.
This afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas while the rest of the country will experience mainly clear conditions.
There is a chance of light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in isolated locations of the hilly regions in the Koshi, Gandaki, and Sudurpashchim provinces.
Tonight, the hilly areas will remain partly cloudy, with fair weather persisting elsewhere.
The Department has advised the public to be cautious, as light rain may occur in a few spots within the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces over the next 24 hours.
