NEPSE rises by 21.27 points, trades worth Rs 6 billion



KATHMANDU: On the first trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose by 21.27 points, reaching 2140.97 points.

A total of 14,014,622 shares were traded today.

The trading session saw an increase in the share prices of 150 companies, while the share prices of 82 companies declined.

The share prices of 15 companies remained unchanged.

Investors in CEDB Hydropower Company saw the highest gains, while those in Mailung Khola Hydropower Company experienced the most significant losses.

The total trading volume for the day amounted to Rs 6.29 billion, with 80,838 transactions recorded.
