Meena Dhakal arrested for attempting to padlock Manoj Gajurel’s house

BHAKTAPUR: Meena Dhakal, who has recently been making controversial statements against comedian Manoj Gajurel, was arrested by the police.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajan Karki of District Police Complex Bhaktapur stated that Dhakal was arrested in connection with a cyber crime case.

“Meena Dhakal has been arrested from Bhaktapur. We have taken her into custody in a cyber crime case,” Karki told Khabarhub. “We will proceed with legal action against her from Bhaktapur.”

According to police reports, Dhakal, accompanied by some people, attempted to lock the house of Manoj Gajurel in Balkot, Bhaktapur on Sunday morning.

Despite having divorced Gajurel some time ago, she claimed that she still had rights to reside in the Balkot house.

DSP Karki stated that Dhakal was apprehended when she arrived with several youths to lock Gajurel’s house in Balkot.

When Meena reached Balkot, Manoj Gajurel was not present at home. Meena reportedly threatened Manoj’s 85-year-old mother and attempted to lock the house.

Neighbors alerted the police when they saw Manoj leaving the house with the key.

Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived and took Meena into custody.

Manoj divorced Meena in 2074 BS.

Despite a cyber crime complaint filed against her for defaming Manoj on social media, Meena was caught attempting to lock Manoj’s house on Sunday.
