KATHMANDU: Sambhav Sirohiya, Managing Director of Kantipur Media Group (KMG), has accused Home Minister Lamichhane of requesting the media house not to publish news related to him concerning a cooperative fraud scam.
In a video message published on Friday morning, Sirohiya claimed that Home Minister Lamichhane made this request while the media house was uncovering the cooperative fraud scam.
Sirohiya also alleged that the arrest of Kailash Sirohiya, Chairman of KMG and Sambhav Sirohiya’s father, was based on false accusations made by Home Minister Lamichhane after the media house refused to comply with his request.
