Siraha Municipality launches campaign for quality education



SIRAHA: Siraha municipality in the district has launched a campaign for quality education in the community schools.

As part of the campaign, the municipality inspected whether all students got textbooks on the very day the new academic session began and the schools took entrance exam to the new students.

The local level also distributed awards and uniforms to the diligent students.

The municipality has decided to conduct free health check up of students twice a year, help schools create better learning atmosphere.

It is for eco-friendly and child-friendly environment in the schools. In this connection, the municipality on Sunday distributed uniforms to 386 students from Grade 1 to 5 at the Shree Basic School at Baspitta of Siraha municipality-6.

The local level has been working actively for children’s school enrollment, according to Baliram Yadav, chief executive officer.

Yadav underlined, “Unless community schools provide quality education, society can not be informed well. Time has come for better coordination among all three-tier of government to improve education in community schools.”
