Adhyananda Pandey elected UML Bara District Chair



KATHMANDU: Adhyananda Pandey has been elected as the chairman of the Bara District Committee of the CPN (UML) after securing victory in the voting process.

Pandey secured a total of 377 votes, surpassing his opponent Tina Subedi, who received 343 votes in the election held on Saturday.

Mohammad Rafique Miya, the Chief Election Officer, confirmed these results.

Furthermore, Bhulan Chaudhary was elected as the vice-chairman, while Amrit Sharma Bajgain secured the position of secretary.

Jabahir Ansari was chosen as the joint-secretary, and Bhawana Acharya emerged as the joint-secretary under the woman category.
