JSP to submit ministerial nomination list today

KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has decided to submit the list of lawmakers to be included in Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’s cabinet.

JSP Spokesperson Manish Suman revealed that the authority to propose ministerial names has been delegated to party Chairman Upendra Yadav, following a suggestion from the Prime Minister.

“We have reached a consensus in a way. We have entrusted the chairman with the authority. The chairman will submit the list of ministerial names, including his own, this evening after consulting with the Prime Minister and leaders of other parties,” he stated.

Suman hinted that Yadav himself might become a minister.

“The chairman can also be an honorable minister. He too can become a minister,” he mentioned.

Discussions are underway regarding the appointment of ministers, including the Deputy Prime Minister and the Health Minister representing JSP.

The Health and Forest ministries remain vacant in the Cabinet.
