KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has noted a partial to a general shift in weather patterns across the country, with Gandaki, Lumbini, Bagmati, and isolated areas in the Madhes Province experiencing scattered to light rain.

According to the Division, Nepal is currently being influenced by westerly winds.

This afternoon, according to the Division, there will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy conditions in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Meanwhile, the weather will be partly cloudy to mainly clear in the remaining provinces.

There’s a likelihood of scattered to light rain in a few places in Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as isolated spots in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Bagmati, and Koshi provinces.

Some high hilly and Himalayan areas may witness light snowfall.

Tonight, there’s a chance of scattered to light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim.

Additionally, some parts of the high hilly and Himalayan areas may experience light snowfall.
